Since Mum has been in town, I’ve been harried and a little behind on posting. Here is a sneak peek of some finished bags I’ll blog about soon! I got a new photo backdrop, but as you can see? There are some OBVIOUS folds in that I’m still trying to smooth out.

Convertible
I ran across the Convertible Tote pattern from Mrs. H. I wasn’t sure I liked it, to be honest. I’m not a fan of backpacks at all. But! My mom asked for one. I went through a couple patterns and decided that I really liked the techniques and construction of the Convertible and downloaded itContinue reading “Convertible”
Hungry Hungry Hippo
This is the Hippo Hobo bag from EmkieDesigns. I love how it turned out! The fabric is by Micklyn from Spoonflower.
Instant Classic
I finished the Classic Carryall Tote from Andrie Designs! Although I really like how it turned out, especially how well I did with the zipper, I can think of a couple things I’ll for sure do differently next time!
Lily!
I’ve had the Lily Bag from Blue Calla Patterns on my ‘to do’ list for a long time. I finally decided to just make one! I have no idea why I stalled? I picked a really cool ‘knit’ print from Spoonflower by Chicken Boots and accented it with some purple cork. I modified the strapContinue reading “Lily!”
Going to the Chapel!
I finished the Chapel Street Shoulder Bag from Little Moo Designs this morning. I made a couple changes, though. First of all, I made a long strap so it’s more of a cross-body, which I prefer. Then I moved the strap tabs down, basically coping what I did on my Spizoiky bag and used someContinue reading “Going to the Chapel!”
London Calling
With London in mind yesterday, I created this super simple and demure bag. I used some incredibly geographically inaccurate Passport fabric from, featuring famous London landmarks and accented with gorgeous black Essex Linen. The pattern is the Evelyn Tote from Swoon. I’m not crazy about how the straps came out, I really didn’t like theContinue reading “London Calling”
Spizoiky
This is my first Abstract Tote from Little Moo Desisgns I am so in love with this bag. Inspired by Josh Mario John, I used this red grunge plaid print in Lightweight Cotton Twill as the base and accented with the black ‘wood’ print and a custom beard print that I uploaded just for thisContinue reading “Spizoiky”
Ahab
I wanted to share with you some pictures of my finished Bonnie Bucket bag from Swoon. I call this bag Ahab because of this swarthy tattooed captain here. I mad ea couple of changes to the bag as I went. Instead of the welt pocket, I created this contracting contrast trim for the front zipperContinue reading “Ahab”
The Plant Pot
EmKie Designs released a new pattern this week, The Plant Pot. You can either purchase it from her Etsy shop, or get it free for signing up for her newsletter. I made sure to purchase it to continue to support amazing indie designers. I was really busy yesterday, but after dinner I sat and cutContinue reading “The Plant Pot”
