The newest cycle of the BOTM Club started and… I’m disappointed. This is absolutely not my style and reading through the instructions, just a really odd bag. The strap is connected to the flap and the flap only closes with a magnetic snap so I can’t fathom how it’s going to stay close and notContinue reading “Bag of the Month: January”
Yesterday it was the first real day of Fall. No PSLs here, instead it starts to storm and we start the cycle of losing power and having the streets flood! Yesterday I trekked to the Campania with the Little to get some more school supplies at the Carrefour, she keeps bringing home lists of moreContinue reading “Somewhere, Over the Rainbow”
There is so much going on this month! I have a ‘to do’ list about as long as my arm… One of the things I am most excited about this month is receiving my new Purple Trail Planners. I’ve ordered two, a daily planner for my business work and a mini mom planner for everyday. Continue reading “Hello, September”
As soon as Little Moo Designs started posting teasers for her new pattern, I’d been patiently waiting for it to release! Then, all her testers started posting their amazing bags, and the waiting got HARD. Thankfully, she went ahead and surprised everyone and released the Harlow Bag two days early! Your favourite fabric will standContinue reading “Harlow, Gorgeous”
I’ve been on a roll making Necessary Clutch minis! This is such a great and fun pattern to make and they just get easier the more you make. We’d been having serious wifi issues the last month and we’ve been using a sort of ‘mediator’ to work with Telecom to get the service worked out. Continue reading “NCW”
I am so proud of my Alice Alice. I used the Wonderland line from Rifle Paper Co and the Alice Tote pattern from Swoon. I also used my amazing templates from Tops & Bobbins to perfectly align the little Alice. The accent is all denim cork from Sew Sweetness.
My wifi has been down since last weekend, so this is very late! For Father’s Day my husband and I collaborated in creating this amazing shirt. He drew and designed the fabric and we printed it out on some Cotton Poplin over at Spoonflower. I used Kwik Sew pattern 3422 and sat and fussy cutContinue reading “Shark Bite!”
I’m so behind. I finished these shorts last month. The Coachella Shorts pattern is from Striped Swallow Designs, which I found on Etsy. I used this gorgeous bright dragon print fabric from Spoonflower and some random purple pom trim. I think they’re a litttttle too big, but they are ridiculously comfortable.
When I got home from London there was a pile of post waiting for me. One of the parcels was my Club Clobird subscription! This month features the Classic Clutch pattern from Andrie Designs. I tend to really like her patterns so I was very excited to get into this project. This clutch is basicallyContinue reading “Instant Classic, part 2”
A few times a year I travel home to London. Besides visiting family, I always gravitate to the same few destinations. The Victoria and Albert, The British Museum, Hyde Park, The Natural History Museum, Harrod’s Food Court, and Liberty of London. Although Liberty boasts and extraordinary Tudor facade, it was actually opened in 1875. It’sContinue reading “Liberty Of London”
