Minikins!

SewSweetness released a series of patterns earlier this year called Minikins.  At 80$ the price seems incredibly steep.  I was initially very very hesitant, that’s a massive investment.

You get 12 patterns and eventually she’ll be releasing tutorial videos on how to make each pattern.  Some patterns are basic that I’ve probably got various versions of already.  Some are fairly unique.

The Minikins patterns feature templates, instructions, and full-color step photos. The patterns included are:

  • Bellevue Pouch (3 sizes)
  • Binary Pouch
  • Cotton Candy Pouch (3 sizes)
  • Desktop Cube (3 sizes)
  • Grab and Go Sleeve
  • I-Spy Pouch (3 sizes)
  • Jetset Cinched Bag
  • Morsel Lunch Bag
  • Moto Pouch (2 sizes)
  • Sidewinder Pouch (3 sizes)
  • Trifle Tumbler (3 sizes)
  • Zeppelin Pouch

In the end I had a bride place an order for a dozen bridal party gifts that made grabbing the bundle worth it.

I finished up a Binary Pouch for myself the other day, something I can throw in my bag or whatever when I’m out.  It’s sort of smooshed up, but I think it turned out great.  I also made a little Bellevue for my Little for Christmas.

Yesterday she released the video for the Sidewinder, which I plan to cut out and sew today!
