Kenzie

I finished up this Kenzie Cross Body Sling bag from iThinkSew.  I had to heavily edit the pattern, the whole front pocket was designed with raw edges and looked like a mess.

This is what I came up with!

It’s a relatively small bag, compact, but perfect for a Kindle or an iPad mini.  I added a grommet in the front for headphones and made the front panel into a mesh slip pocket with a nice sturdy snap.

I know I’ve been using these iThinkSew patterns a lot lately, but I regret to say that I DO NOT recommend this designer.  These are so poorly finished that I’ve had to go in and redesign  lot of them to make them more professional and user friendly.

The last pattern I ordered from the Etsy shop was downloaded into the wrong pattern.  Despite messaging them SEVERAL times, I have yet to get the correct pattern I purchased.  Another issue is that I was added to their email mailing list without my concent, which is actually illegal here in the EU.  I’ve unsubed myself from it several times only to have more ‘issues’ of it turn up in my in-box.  Major no-no and major turn off.
