Convertible

I ran across the Convertible Tote pattern from Mrs. H.  I wasn’t sure I liked it, to be honest.  I’m not a fan of backpacks at all.  But!  My mom asked for one.  I went through a couple patterns and decided that I really liked the techniques and construction of the Convertible and downloaded it and set out to cut it out.

I knew I wanted to use this GORGEOUS mandala pattern from Micklyn on Spoonflower.  It’s the perfect bright blue for Spring.  I also used cork (which I always order from Sew Sweetness) as the accent.  I am getting more and more comfortable working with it!
